Meaningful response headers

One of the advantages of being a small company is that you can have a closer relationship with your users and you are able to react more quickly to their requests.

Today we’re happy to announce a new feature that comes directly from a support ticket. A few days ago we received an email from David asking for a better way to check the credit balance. The idea David suggested was to embed credit balance in the response header.

We loved the idea and we immediately started working on it.

We are very excited to announce that this feature is now immediately available to all pay-as-you-go accounts. Now you can check the status of your credits inspecting the response headers of any request made to our APIs.

Look for the following keys:

X-CreditLimit-Remaining: 500

Of course, you can also check the status of your credits using the account API.

Thanks David for your email and thanks to all our users for being so valuable.
